Welcome to Camp Eagle 2017

Camp dates: September 25-27

The swim test has been cancelled for 2017. All water activites have been removed from the camp program. Hiking, archery, low ropes and co-operative initiatives have been put in the program to replace canoeing and kayaking. Please contact the school if you have any questions.

Camp Eagle takes place at Camp Wanakita located in beautiful Haliburton, Ontario.

Camp Eagle is a three-day orientation programme for incoming grade 9 students. The camp involves a balance of activities and skill-based sessions designed to challenge and engage. Activities include: canoeing, kayaking, high and low ropes, climbing, hiking and so much more!

The emphasis is on building long term relationships between campers, senior students, as well as GSS staff. The overall goal is to make our grade 9 students' first GSS experience fun and memorable.

We strongly encourage all grade 9 students to take part in Camp Eagle!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Christine LeBeau at (905) 945-5416 or Christine.LeBeau@dsbn.org.
