Grade 11-TMW35
This course focusses on various types
of fusion and non-fusion welding processes. Students will study oxy-acetylene
welding and cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding,
flux core arc welding, plasma cutting, soldering, and brazing. students
will also be involved in the fabrication of projects utilizing various
welding processes.This course will have strong emphasis on correct
work procedures and sound safety practices as it relates speciffically
to the welding trade. they will also study a broad range of career
opportunities available in the welding field and the educational requirements.
Students will also research the scope of the welding industry and
the impact of its products on individuals, society, and the enviroment.
Grade 12-TMW45
This course will continue to build on technical skills
recieved in Grade 11 and on the various types of fusion and non-fusion
